The publication »Inside the Work – Documentation 13 Years KUB« is a comprehensive overview of Kunsthaus Bregenz’s history from when it was built in 1997 until 2009. In an essential essay the publication’s editor Eckhard Schneider presents his concept of Kunsthaus Bregenz and explains how, based on the notion »Inside the Work«, it was implemented. The exhibitions, including works especially created for presentation at Kunsthaus Bregenz, are extensively illustrated in large reproductions. More than a mere retrospective visual documentation of all the institution’s exhibitions, the publication is a carefully compiled work of reference that includes all of the artists involved as well as all projects and activities undertaken by Kunsthaus Bregenz.
