On the occasion of the exhibition »Joan Mitchell. Retrospective – Her Life and Paintings« Kunsthaus Bregenz is publishing a limited edition art print. The painting »Untitled« from 1992, the last year of Joan Mitchell’s life, is evocative of a final gesture in its austere calligraphy; this succinct painting eloquently conveys the expressive force of Mitchell’s symbology in all its complex painterly and emotional intensity.
