In conjunction with the exhibition KUB Collection – Anna Jermolaewa, Kunsthaus Bregenz is publishing an individually designed artist book that has a captivatingly unusual form based on the diversity of the format of Jermolaewa’s works. Photographs, installation views, watercolors, and film stills overlap in various sizes and are gathered together in a multi-part, spiral-bound “flip book,” forming a page-turning collage of works. The ring-bound book features a transparent cover and is supplemented by a talk between the artist and KUB Director Thomas D. Trummer illuminating Jermolaewa’s work in relation to her sociopolitical commitment.
The artist book was designed in a close collaboration with Anna Jermolaewa.
