Exclusive special editions for Kunsthaus Bregenz are produced in close collaboration with the artist and their chosen materials. Pamela Rosenkranz addresses the biological foundations of our perception. She works with plastics together with scents, earth and light, bacteria and parasites. An exploration of the culturally charged motif of the snake was an element in Rosenkranz’s most recent group of works. In the exhibition House of Meme at Kunsthaus Bregenz, Healer (Anamazon), an algorithmically controlled robotic snake moved around an artificial habitat permeated by flickering green light.
