A weekend with Precious Okoyomon
Kunsthaus Bregenz presents an extraordinary event series – a weekend of dreams and imagination, curated by Precious Okoyomon. The diverse program complements the exhibition and brings together music, performances, and talks, as well as contributions from renowned guests in science, art, and literature, creating a grand celebration.
The opening on Friday evening promises a musical highlight: the doom metal band Divide and Dissolve sets the tone for a multidisciplinary, community-focused weekend.
On Saturday at 4 pm, Precious Okoyomon meets with British-Indian poet Bhanu Kapil, followed by a conversation at 6 pm with painter, psychoanalyst, and peace activist Bracha Ettinger about dreaming. On Sunday, Okoyomon invites the audience to immerse themselves in a poetic world with a reading from their 2024 poetry collection But Did You Die?. Afterwards, a reading marathon encourages everyone to share passages from their favorite books—a collective celebration of literature.
