On the occasion of his solo exhibition at Kunsthaus Bregenz, Richard Prince will be producing a portfolio of eleven sheets taken from the series Untitled (protest), which he has created between 2012 and 2014. In a manner typical of the appropriational work of the artist, he combines, a photograph documenting political protest or resistance with a frequently no less aggressive erotic or pornographic shot, in an expressive image of conflicting statements.
