On the first floor of his exhibition at Kunsthaus Bregenz Tarek Atoui presented various “wind instruments.” These pieces sensitize us to the many ways we can produce and perceive sound—by hearing, but also by seeing and feeling. The Reedboxes likewise belong to the group of the wind instruments; they are light, transportable instruments that produce melodic sounds.
