The work for the edition of Kunsthaus Bregenz came about originally in 1974, when VALIE EXPORT engaged intensively with conceptional photography. With regard to motifs, the photography of the edition is close to »hand figurations« that also can be seen in the exhibition. In her conceptional photographic works, VALIE EXPORT investigates, among other things, structural similarities between human beings and nature.
