The »Standbilder« (Statues) signify the provisional culmination of a virtual and actual movement between two photographic markings. They point to a complex network of relationships and references that the conceptualist and sculptor Gottfried Bechtold and the photographer Heinz Schmidt have established together by dividing the tasks between them.
