Keith Sonnier's work with fluorescent tubes is less an exposure than a marking of often unfamiliar spatial situations. He changes spaces and buildings, lends them their own aura with light. Working in the USA, France, Germany and temporarily in Austria testify to the work of Sonnier, who is sensitive to architecture in a playful way, does not fight it, does not subordinate his works, but creates a new overall expression in the interplay between the existing and the added.
