The architect's and the painter's intentions combine this small building in the Viennese Praterauen in an equally radical and exemplary way. Construction and spatial structures respond to the specific conditions of the construction site, but formally refer to archaic values of light, space and material effects. The choice of coloring brings the reduced material palette from within in an analogous puristic way to the speech and at the same time creates unusual, but at the second glance, fascinating references to the color spectrum of the surrounding nature. The »Neue Welt Schule« – created with a minimal budget by a foundation for refugee families from Eastern Europe – certainly does not stain a colorful, cute bright Minimundus world, but sets a quite provocative art work in a scenic environment.
