Roland Gnaiger – Schule in Warth

Roland Gnaiger, born in Bregenz in 1951, is one of the most important exponents of the contemporary architectural scene in Vorarlberg. The school, founded in 1991/82, according to his plans, is the internationally most regarded example of modern architecture in the alpine region. The building is precisely designed from the conditions of the terrain, the extreme climate and the cultural situation of the place. Through his holistic attitude he has in this division and, moreover, model character. The present volume provides comprehensive documentation with architectural drawings and illustrations.
